Elettaria Cart comes from the house of Vettikuzhiyil, a family of traditional planters based in Kattappana, Idukki, Kerala. Our family’s connection with cardamom cultivation dates back to 1940 and has continued across three generations. Today, Elettaria Cart brings this plantation heritage to customers across India through carefully selected Idukki cardamom in whole pods, seeds and powder.

Frequently asked questions

Is your cardamom really farm-direct?

Yes — grown and harvested on our own estate in Idukki, Kerala, and shipped directly to you with no middlemen.
What sizes of cardamom do you offer?

Two premium grades — 7MM (everyday) and 8MM (bold, premium) — plus powder and pure seeds.
Is it 100% natural?

Yes, no additives, fillers, or artificial anything — just pure Idukki cardamom.
Do you deliver across India?

Yes, we provide pan-India shipping.
What's the difference between whole powder and seed-only powder?

Whole powder is ground from the full pod for a balanced flavor; seed-onlypowder is more concentrated and intense — great for desserts and spice blends.
